- 10 ounces of pastas – coquillettes (or macaroni) is the classic choice, but you can also do any small pastas such as orzo, alphabet pastas, rotini, tripolini or pastina
- A knob of better to melt in the pastas
- half a slice of cooked ham per serving – for babies 18 months and up
- Half a portion of laughing cow cheese for smaller babies or a tablespoon of shredded cheddar, gruyere or swiss cheese for older babies/children (higher in salt)
