American Havarti Apple Pie | Castello®

Ingredients

• 2½ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp sugar
• ½ tsp salt
• ¾ cups butter, chilled and cut into ½ inch cubes
• 6 oz Castello® Aged havarti, shredded
• 6 tbsp (to 8) ice water
• 7 large apples (use a mix of Granny Smith and Pink Lady)
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• ½ cups sugar
• ¼ cups brown sugar
• 2 tbsp cinnamon
• ½ tsp nutmeg
• ¼ tsp allspice
• 2 tbsp all purpose flour
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tbsp milk
• 1 tbsp sanding sugar, for dusting
