Buttermilk Cream Parfait - Inspired Cuisine
It is beautiful! The recipe was easy, and as it turned out, so was the preparation. I filled these dessert glasses with a delicious Buttermilk Cream Parfait and a strawberry coulis.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 large vanilla pod or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 tsp unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup sugar
- kosher salt
- 3/4 cup milk (plus 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to make buttermilk)
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1 pint fresh strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 lemon juiced
- 3-4 sprigs fresh mint for garnish
