• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 4 teaspoons milk
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup confectioners' sugar
• 1 tablespoon butter softened
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• a few drops of red and green food coloring; others as desired
