Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
• 1 3/4 cup rolled oats (old fashioned)
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter – melted
• 1 cup toasted pecans – chopped coarsely
• 1 3/4 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 10 tablespoons butter (1 1/4 stick) – room temp and cut into pieces
• 2 tablespoons heavy cream
• pinch kosher salt
