Ingredients

  • Color: A ripe cantaloupe should have a creamy yellow, beige, or sandy gold rind. If the rind is predominantly green, it’s not quite ready.
  • Sound: A ripe cantaloupe should make a low, solid sound when you tap it lightly with your fingers. If it sound hollow or high-pitched, it may be overripe or underripe.
  • 3 cups cubed cantaloupe frozen
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • ⅔ cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • Add lime juice, orange juice (This helps the blender blades break through hard frozen fruit.
  • Add yogurt next to ensure they are well blended the liquid.
  • Add frozen cantaloupe
  • Add grated carrot
  • Add orange Zest
  • Pulse a few times, then puree until smooth, scraping down the side as necessary.
  • Add more water or milk to reach your desire consistency.
