• 8 hotdog buns

• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 large white onion, diced
• 1 ½ pounds ground beef

• ¼ cup ketchup
• 1 (14.5-ounce) can tomatoes, diced, or crushed
• 2 tablespoons mustard
• ¼ cup water
• 1 jalapeno, diced
• Salt and pepper, to taste
