Cherry-Bright Chocolate Brownies Recipe - Delicious and Easy to Make

• 1/2 cup of chopped maraschino cherries, well drained
• 1/3 cup of butter or margarine, softened
• 3/4 cup of sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tbsp of light corn syrup
• 1 tsp of almond extract OR 2 tbsp of kirsch (cherry brandy)
• 1 tsp of vanilla extract
• 2/3 cup of all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup of HERSHEY'S cocoa
• 1/2 tsp of salt
• 1/4 tsp of baking powder
• 1/3 cup of chopped slivered almonds
• Additional maraschino cherries, halved (optional)
