Ingredients

• 1 21-1/2-ounce package fudge brownie mix
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 cup cooking oil
• 1 egg
• 2/3 cup whipping cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 egg yolk
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 2 ounces (1/2 cup) white baking bar, grated
• 1 quart chocolate ice cream
• 2 cups cut-up candy bars (chocolate-coated caramel-topped nougat bars, chocolate-covered English toffee, chocolate-covered peanut butter cups, and/or white chocolate candy bars)
• 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
• Sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
