Chocolate Gourmand: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Based on the classic toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe, I add a little extra flour and vanilla to produce a slightly fluffier, more flavorful cookie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bag of dark chocolate chips (variation: 12 oz. bag of M&Ms)
