Ingredients

• 4 cups Granny Smith apples peeled and sliced
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 3/4 cup flour sifted
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup butter
