Ingredients

• ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
• 2 ½ cups flour, spooned and leveled
• ¼ cup white sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 cups buttermilk
• ½ cup milk
• 2 eggs, separated
• bacon grease, for frying (easiest way to do this is cook bacon before and leave the grease/fat in the pan)
