Ingredients

• ½ pound butter, at a cool room temperature (2 sticks)
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ¼ cup Earl Grey tea leaves
• 1 generous teaspoon finely grated orange zest
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 whole egg plus 1 yolk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2½ cups bleached, all-purpose flour
• 1 cup confectioner's sugar
• 5 to 6 teaspoons orange juice
