• For the cream cheese layer:

• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• For the pecan filling:
• 6 large eggs
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups light corn syrup
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
