Anne's Chicken

Ingredients

• 1 frying chicken, cut up
• 2 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
• Salt and pepper
• 2 tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing mix
• 1 (10 - 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
• 2 (3 oz.) packages cream cheese, cut into cubes
• 1/2 cup sauterne or sherry
• 1 tbsp. chopped onion
