Ingredients
- 100 g softened unsalted butter plus extra for greasing
- 100 g sifted caster sugar
- 2 large free-range eggs, lightly beaten
- 50 g plain flour, sifted
- 50 g ground almonds
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp milk or natural yoghurt
- 2 small eating apples with rosy skins, washed and cored
- To serve: icing sugar, crème fraiche and fresh blackberries
