These fried bannock dogs are the twist on pigs in a blanket you must try! Hotdogs are wrapped in bannock dough and then deep fried.
Ingredients
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- ⅓ cup milk or non-dairy milk
- 1 ¾ cups warm water
- 12 hotdogs
- 2 cups neutral oil for frying (I use sunflower oil)
- Ketchup
- Mustard
