Ingredients

• 8 slices hearty bread, such as rustic French or ciabatta
• 12 slices Bacon
• 6 gold or red beets, peeled, sliced and roasted
• 8 leaves red lettuce
• ½ cup aioli
• Olive oil
• 1 egg yolk
• ½ cup olive oil
• 1 clove garlic, finely grated
• 2 tsp. lemon juice
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
