tequila lime sugar cOOkies - Sugar Booger Sweets

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp tequila or non alcoholic tequila alternative such as CleanCo Clean T
• 1 tbsp lime juice
• 2 sticks unsalted butter, cut into 1/4in pieces; firm but pliable
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 ¼ tsp kosher salt
• 2 large egg whites
• 1 tbsp heavy whipping cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ tbsp lime juice
• 2 ⅔ cups cake flour
• flaky sea salt or fleur de sel (optional)
