Meatballs with Rice – West Bend

Ingredients

• 1 pound lean ground beef or chuck
• 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons minced onion
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon basil
• 1/4 teaspoon savory, optional
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 - 28 ounces can whole tomatoes, undrained
• 1/2 cup sliced onion
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup raw rice
