Ingredients

• 1/4 cup brandy (optional)
• 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

• 1 lemon, sliced
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 4-6 whole cloves
• 2 star anise
• 1-2 apples, cored and sliced
• Orange or lemon zest for garnish
• Additional honey or sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
