• 1 cup (240 ml) barbecue sauce
• 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, optional
• 4 tablespoons (56 g) unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup (30 g) all-purpose flour
• 2 1/2 cups (600 ml) whole milk, warm
• 2 cups (225 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
• 2 cups (225 g) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, for drizzling
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
