• 6 medium apples, washed and thoroughly dried
• 6 caramel apple sticks or small popsicle sticks
• 1 tsp butter, for greasing pan
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• ½ cup light corn syrup
• 1 cup water
• ½ tsp red food coloring
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice extract or 1/8 tsp cinnamon extract
