Window Sherbet (Ais Tingkap) | Asian Inspirations
Ais Tingkap is also known as Window Sherbet. A rather odd name for a drink, the name originated from the 1930’s when Ais Tingkap was first sold through a window!
Ingredients
- Coconut water from 1 coconut
- 2-3 pieces of coconut flesh
- 1 tsp basil seeds (soaked in water for 15 mins)
- 2-3 tbsp rose syrup
- Plenty of shaved ice or ice cubes
