• 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
• ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
• ¼ cup unsalted butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon mined fresh ginger
• 2 (12-ounce) cans strong ginger ale (don't use a diet version)
• ¼ cup honey
• 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• sliced green onion, optional, for garnish
