• 1 /2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1/8 tsp baking soda
• 1/8 tsp kosher salt
• 14 tbsp (1 3/4 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1 & 1/3 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1 large egg, room temperature
• 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp kosher salt, divided
• 6 cups caramel popcorn
• Flakey sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
