Mac n Cheese is one of my family’s favorite side dish. This recipe is super creamy and extra cheesy which is exactly the way we love it.
Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni (1 box)
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 4 cups of half and half (or whole milk / heavy cream)
- 4 cups of Colby Jack cheese (or cheddar)
- 2 cups mozzarella (or any cheese of your choice like Gruyère)
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
