• 1 cup (6 oz – 170 gm) semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1½ cups (13¾ oz – 390 gm) white sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1½ cups (9 oz – 255 gm) coconut flakes
• 1 tsp (5 ml) almond extract
• 2 cups (7¾ oz – 220 gm) all-purpose white flour
• 1½ cups (4½ oz – 125 gm) glacé cherries, coarsely chopped
• 1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
• 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml) salt
