Ingredients: 36 ounces cubed potato (= 3 cups); 2 ounces finely sliced carrot (= 1/3 cup); 8 ounces diced celery (= 1 cup); 2 ounces finely chopped onion (= ¼ cup); 2 ounces finely chopped green pepper (= 1/3 cup); 1 3/4 cup water; 1 teaspoon salt (optional); 1/8 teaspoon Hungarian paprika; 1/8 teaspoon thyme; 1/8 teaspoon marjoram; 1 tablespoon butter; 1/8 teaspoon black pepper; 2 teaspoons dried chopped parsley (or 2 tablespoons fresh parsley); 2 cups milk
