Pecan Pie I

Ingredients

• 8" or 9" pie shell, unbaked*
• 1 cup pecan halves
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup dark corn syrup (I used light because it was what I had on hand)
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
