Irish Potato Fondue | Michigan Potatoes

Ingredients

• 3 cups various Michigan Potatoes (mix it up!)
• 1/2 cup olive oil
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
• 1 cup Guinness Beer or your favorite Irish Stout
• 1 cup half and half
• 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
• 3 cups Irish Cheddar cheese, shredded
• Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
• Pinch of salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/4 cup crumbled cooked bacon (optional)
