Ingredients
- 10 garlic scapes cut into 1.5 cm pieces. Exclude the seed bulb.
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves lightly packed
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup virgin olive oil (more or less on how thick you want your pesto)
- ½ to 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup pine nuts (or walnuts)
