- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten

- 1 cup half-and-half
- 3/4 cup pureed pawpaw
- 1/4 cup mashed banana
- 3 egg whites
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 9 inches baked pie crusts
