Ingredients
- ½kg fine semolina
- ½kg coarse semolina
- 640ml milk
- 500g. sugar
- 3tbs baking powder
- 1tsp soda
- 200g. strained yoghurt
- a bit of salt
- 2-3 grains mastic
- 50g. butter and a bit extra to grease the baking tin
- For the syrup
- 1kg sugar
- 5 glasses water
- 1 lemon cut in half
- 1-2 cinnamon sticks
- 2tbs corn syrup
