• ⅓ cup dark brown sugar, packed
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ½ teaspoon ground ginger
• ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
• ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
• 2 small Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
• 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
• 1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon kosher salt
• ½ cup Hiland Unsalted Butter, softened
• ⅔ cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
• ⅓ cup Hiland Milk, at room temperature
• ¼ cup Hiland Sour Cream, at room temperature
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
• ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
• 1-2 tablespoons Hiland Milk or Hiland Heavy Cream
