Ingredients

• 2 medium yellow onions, sliced
• 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
• olive oil
• 1/2 cup pine nuts
• 2 garlic cloves, unpeeled
• 4 cups lightly packed basil leaves (from two 4-oz boxes)
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
• 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 pounds pizza dough*
• 2 large tomatoes, sliced
• 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
• 1 1/2 cups grated or sliced fresh mozzarella cheese (optional)
• Freshly ground black pepper
