• 1 cup (1/2 pint) cold heavy cream (240 ml)
• 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar (50 grams)
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (2 ml)
• 1/4 cup water (60 ml)
• 3/4 cup plus 2.5 tablespoons sugar (180 grams)
• 1 teaspoon corn syrup (5 ml)
