Cooked Tomato Sauce
here's our really simple but delicious pizza tomato sauce that needs only a few basic ingredients. we use this sauce for pasta, bolognese, lasagne, pizza and soup.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 knob of butter
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 medium brown onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 2 tins of your favourite crushed tomatoes (or hand crush your own)
- 1 handful of fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- pepper to taste
