Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked chopped beets
- ½ c. applesauce
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- ½ c. oil
- ½ c. plain yogurt
- 3 eggs,
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- ½ c. baking cocoa
- 1 1/2 t. baking soda
- ½ t. salt
- ½ c. chocolate chips (I prefer mini chips)
- powdered sugar or your favorite glaze or frosting
