Brown Butter Toffee Cookies - Student Recipes

Ingredients

• 1 cup salted butter
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup brown sugar (I used light, but whatever you have works)
• 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
• 2 large eggs (room temperature)
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
• 2 Heath/ Skor bars
• 1/4 cup finely chopped almonds (optional)
• 1 tablespoon espresso
• Flaky sea salt to taste
