• 1⁄2 cup butter or plant butter, room temperature (we used Melt plant butter)
• 1 cup unbleached wheat flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1⁄2 tsp salt
• 3⁄4 cup unrefined cane sugar
• 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 cup homemade applesauce
• 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
• 1⁄2 tsp nutmeg
• 1⁄4 tsp cloves
• 2 cups rolled oats
• 1 cup golden raisins
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
