Sweet Potato Chili

Ingredients

• 1 medium red onion chopped
• 1 1 green bell pepper chopped
• 4 teaspoon minced garlic or 4 gloves minced minced
• 1 tablespoon chili powder can use less
• 1 tablespoon cumin can use less
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 can 28 oz diced tomatoes include the liquid
• 2 cans 15 oz can - 30 ozs black beans drained and rinsed
• 3 med sweet potatoes peeled and cut in 1/2 " pieces
• 1 cup water
• 2 tablespoons sugar
