Ingredients

• 3 cups all-purpose flour*
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• 2 3/4 cups Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste (or 1 vanilla bean scraped)
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
• Dixie Crystals Confectioners Powdered Sugar, optional for dusting on top
