- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 large egg, room temperature and lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup 2% milk
- 10 teaspoons peach jam, or fruit flavor of choice
- ***For the topping:***
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- confectioners' sugar, to taste
