- 4 small whole onions, peeled and quartered
- 4 ribs celery, cut into pieces
- 2 to 3 medium potatoes, sliced with skins
- 2 tablespoons flour dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
