Meat and Potato Pie

Ingredients

• 1 onion, peeled and sliced
• 300 g of carrots, peeled and diced
• 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce
• 425 g of shortcrust pastry
• 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup
• 1 egg, beaten, or 1 tbsp milk, to glaze
• 300 g of swede, peeled and diced
• 400 g of potatoes, peeled and diced
• 600 ml of beef stock
• 2 tbsp of plain flour
• 500 g of beef
• 2 tsp of sunflower oil
