- 3 T unsweetened cocoa
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1/2 t salt
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/2 C heavy cream
- 2 1/2 C whole milk
- 5 T cultured butter
- 1 C bittersweet chocolate chips (85% cacao)
- 1 t vanilla bean paste
- 1/4 t ground cinnamon
- 1/8 t cayenne pepper
- whipped cream
- chocolate shavings or finely chopped dark chocolate
