Ingredients
- 4–5 large onions, sliced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 shallot
- 2–3 sprigs of fresh dill
- 1 clove garlic or 1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Gefen Black Pepper
- 3 slices pastrami
- 1/2 cup Pesach crumbs or mashed potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sweet and sour duck sauce (store-bought, such as Gefen, is good)
