Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp speculaas spice mix
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 egg (for egg wash)
• Slivered almonds for topping
