Bobbyland - Janet's Famous Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening (pat better)
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 5 tablespoons sour milk
• 2 cups sifted flour
• 2 cups oatmeal, that 10 minute quickie kind
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1/4 cup nuts, raisins or chocolate chips
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon cloves
